Mini Musings: Learning Along the Way
Hello everyone!
I wanted to introduce a new series here on Muscle Musings called Mini Musings.
These will be shorter posts where I share something new I've learned, a therapy or modality I've experienced, a class I'm taking, or even a lesson from my own wellness and fitness journey. Sometimes they'll be quick updates, and other times they'll follow an experiment over several weeks.
The goal isn't to tell you what should work—it's to explore, learn, ask questions, and share what I discover along the way. I'll talk about what surprised me, what I liked (or didn't), who I think a treatment might be helpful for, and how it might fit into the bigger picture of health and wellness.
Coming Soon...
Our first Mini Musings series will follow our visits to the Oasis Salt Cave here in Vienna.
My office manager (who we'll nickname T. Sprite 😊) and I will each be documenting our experiences over multiple sessions. We'll share our thoughts after each visit and compare how things change over time. Our first post will introduce why we're each trying salt therapy and what we'll be tracking throughout the series.
Later this July and August, I'll be heading out on another learning adventure! My main focus will be expanding my knowledge in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Oncology Massage, while also exploring Craniosacral Therapy as a possible addition to Muscle Music Massage.
Along the way I'll also be experiencing a variety of wellness therapies, including targeted and whole-body cryotherapy, facial cryotherapy, cryo fascial therapy, body contouring and skin tightening treatments, red light therapy, infrared sauna, vibration plates, compression boots, and more.
Some of these may eventually become services I offer. Others will simply help me better understand the therapies my clients ask about so I can offer informed recommendations.
I hope you'll enjoy following along as I continue learning, exploring, and sharing what I discover—one Mini Musing at a time!
